BIOGRAPHY
Joseph Leynard Smith best known as Joe Smith is an American former basketball player who was a forward for 12 teams in his 16 year NBA career. He was born on July 26th, 1975 in Norfolk, Virginia.
He attended Maryland college and he was a player there and he was the number 1 pick in the NBA Draft in the 1995 season. He was picked by the Golden State Warriors. In the 1995–1996 season, he was named to the All-Rookie team.
Throughout his career, he was the most traded player in the NBA. Smith was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in 1998 and then to the Minnesota Timberwolves until 2003.
He later joined the Milwaukee Bucks, the Denver Nuggets, the 76ers again, the Chicago Bulls, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Atlanta Hawks, the New Jersey Nets, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
