LENG CHUA Artist Biography :
LENG is best known for her technique in ball point pen portraits sketches. She is a perfectionist and every line counts. These portraits reflect her BELIEF “if you don’t do it right the first time, we will never have time to do it all over”. On top of this, ball point pen is not as forgiving as pencil, there is no undo button, hence every line will be a meaningful line. In her words, it is a symbol of life, there is no undo, we can only enhance every step and improve upon. She carefully crafts the shadow and depth of the portraits, and it is all the detailing that give emotion and life to the portraits. She started off as a graphic designer. Her many years of graphic design practices has influenced and strengthened her skill in composition and design. She works include branding, advertising and graphic design. Her passion in art and design evolved to jewelry design. Among her successful art piece is ‘Love of Destinies’ with limited production of 100 pieces. Her new-found passion started when she relocated to a new country with her family. Readapting with changes, she was looking for inspiration. She then started searching for new source of inspiration. In the moment of serene, she remembers her childhood dream of becoming an artist. She started to pick up a pen. The story continues as each drawing of these successful amazing individual give her inspiration as well as a channel for her passion.

By deciding to release on Opensea and with #Polygon rather than #Ethereum, SmashChain hopes to negate the wall of hesitancy caused by ridiculously high gas fees, sometimes doubling the price of a single NFT on fees alone.
#The12 Genesis Collection releases 1 Artist every day for 12 days on Opensea. Every NFT released is sold for a fixed price of 0.12 ETH (around US$490 at the time of writing). Royalty on Opensea has been set for 8% for all the artists under this campaign. Additionally, only 1 of 1 has been minted for each work, focusing on rarity and scarcity of their presented works.
