‘THE 12’ Genesis NFT Collection is now complete — only on OPENSEA!

The first of it’s kind under SMASHCHAIN’s Management division — SMASH MANAGEMENT — The 1st curated collection called “The 12”, bringing together 12 Artists from around the world, from various styles and artistic backgrounds into one collection — all 12 being their 1st time to enter into the NFT space, bringing a certain sense of rarity as well as loss of virginity to the Metaverse and what it can bring.

Through The 12 campaign, SMASHCHAIN additionally introduced and coined the term #NanoDrop, focusing more on quality and uniqueness to the ever popular PFP collections looking more at quantity and scale.

All 144 works by the 12 artists are carefully and meticulously created and selected for this campaign, and where as most artists on Opensea, SMASHCHAIN makes it their priority to promote and give insights to the Artist via MEDIUM, giving credence and verification of the works authenticity and scarcity. Additionally as with SMASHCHAIN’s goal to be the most trusted NFT Creator and Marketplace on the planet, every Artists has signed an Agreement with SMASHCHAIN confirming the works are theirs and that SMASHCHAIN has the authority to NFT it.

THE ARTISTS

ARTIST 1 — LENG CHUA

LENG CHUA, Artist Biography

LENG is best known for her technique in ball point pen portraits sketches. She is a perfectionist and every line counts. These portraits reflect her BELIEF “if you don’t do it right the first time, we will never have time to do it all over”. On top of this, ball point pen is not as forgiving as pencil, there is no undo button, hence every line will be a meaningful line. In her words, it is a symbol of life, there is no undo, we can only enhance every step and improve upon. She carefully crafts the shadow and depth of the portraits, and it is all the detailing that give emotion and life to the portraits. She started off as a graphic designer. Her many years of graphic design practices has influenced and strengthened her skill in composition and design. She works include branding, advertising and graphic design. Her passion in art and design evolved to jewelry design. Among her successful art piece is ‘Love of Destinies’ with limited production of 100 pieces. Her new-found passion started when she relocated to a new country with her family. Readapting with changes, she was looking for inspiration. She then started searching for new source of inspiration. In the moment of serene, she remembers her childhood dream of becoming an artist. She started to pick up a pen. The story continues as each drawing of these successful amazing individual give her inspiration as well as a channel for her passion.

ARTIST 2 — YUNG

YUNG, Artist Biography

4A Senior Creative Director, Yung has been working in the art and design industry for over 15 years. Since 2008 to 2019, he has captured 8 prestigious national and local awards: The D&AD Award, ADFEST, NEW YORK Effie Award, HONG KONG Kam Fan Award, and many more. His works have been exhibited in London, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore & Tokyo.

ARTIST 3 — FRED CI

FRED CI, Artist Biography

Color, shape and animal enthusiast living in Seattle. Fred’s art journey started from just a random stretch of an apple in a wood kitchen chair that later led to the fun of blobs and layers of paint on blank canvases. Inspired and intrigued by Claude Monet’s Haystack series, the Artist over the years has studied light and colors through his own practices, discovered the ability of translating the liveliness of adorable and magnificent creatures into vibrant combinations of colors, revealing the interesting relationship and relativeness between the true reflected light by objects we see and the otherworldly, dream-like spectrum of colors on the canvas, wishing to bring out the dignity and delightfulness of the marvelous creatures in this beautiful and colorful world we live in.

ARTIST 4 — SEE KHAN

SEE KHAN, Artist Biography

A visual artist focused on the Zen style drawing, Portrait Photography, Fashion Style, Video making and Graphic design. See Khan’s idea in art is inner perspective and is to emphasize simplicity by the expression of oriental aesthetics in modern perspectives. Additionally the outer perspective is to emphasize visual impact, with the expression of daily life in an aesthetic way by using a distinct and unique style.

ARTIST 5 — GILE BUTHELEZI

GILE BUTHELEZI, Artist Biography

I’m a young and up coming South African born artist and left the nest to pursue my love for art in the UK at the University of Reading. Once I completed my studies I graduated with an honors degree in fine arts. Naturally I gravitate towards hobbies that include gallery hopping and all things arts and culture related.
Some refer to me as charismatic, lively and good to have around. Among all my accomplishments and hobbies, I’ve recently become a dog mom and I absolutely adore and love my dog.

Being the owner of PL AND ARTS studio, PL dedicated herself in giving new lives to old objects in common life. PL uses bright and bold colors to delivery the message of happiness and true feelings. Using geometrical elements, PL created the pattern of “KALEIDOSCOPE” with fabrics, leathers and other environment-friendly and recycled materials, achieving the creativity balance of art and environmental protection.

ARTIST 8 — TOKAYIN

TOKAYIN, Artist Biography

Born in 1999, Canada, Vancouver Betty TOKAYIN studied the arts since age two with highly sought-after teachers. This continued when she moved to Hong Kong. At the same time she studied in an elite art school “Hua Shan Mei Yuan” in her free time in order to pursue both East and West perspectives on the arts. TOKAYIN then graduated from Goldsmiths University of London in Fine Arts. She recently began her full-time artist career with her first Solo art exhibition, after that she continued to exhibit with other artists, additionally entering her art in auctions and now pleased to join the world of NFTs.

Since childhood, I have a keen sense of sound. From musicology to zoology, from physics to phonology, everything that vibrates attracts me. My passion for color and structure and anything else leads me to the ultimate question: What is the essence of Universe? After being trained in architecture and parametric design, I dedicated myself to seek the secret of the universe, and as Nikola Tesla put it, probably lies in SOUND. Andy Warhol once said, “People should fall in love with their eyes closed. I believe we could ‘SEE’ more when we just listen.”

ELLIOT, Artist Biography

A Belgian magician who has traveled all over the world to amaze audiences at exclusive gatherings using his knowledge of 8 different languages. He specializes in corporate events for luxury and fashion brands such as Porsche, Frank Muller, Hermès and Bvlgari. He creates magical interactive experiences for events such as brand launches and cocktail parties specifically tailored to the clients’ needs.
